This policy explains how cineme.ai uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local-storage). It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal data we collect overall.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They're often used to remember preferences (so you don't have to log in every time), to keep your shopping cart between page loads, or to track behaviour across sites. The same legal framework (UK PECR and EU ePrivacy law) also covers other client-side storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage, so we cover those here too.
We use as little client-side storage as we reasonably can. We do not use any advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics that profile individual visitors.

Local-storage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so we don't show it again on every visit. | Persistent (until you clear your browser data). | No — strictly necessary. |
That's it. The site does not currently set any other cookies or storage. If we add any in the future (for example, lightweight analytics), we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before we set them.
Some of our pages connect to third-party services to load resources. None of these set cookies on cineme.ai for tracking purposes, but you may want to know they exist:
fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Per Google's documentation, these endpoints do not set cookies and do not log identifying information about font requests./cannes), we load the qrcode-generator JavaScript library from the public jsDelivr CDN. No cookies are set.You can clear cookies and local-storage at any time using your browser's settings. The exact steps depend on which browser you use — these guides may help:
If you clear the cineme_consent entry, our cookie notice will appear again on your next visit.
Because we don't use tracking cookies or behavioural advertising, "Do Not Track" and "Global Privacy Control" signals are not relevant to anything we currently do. We will revisit this if that ever changes.
We will update this policy if we add new technologies that fall under it. The version and effective date at the top will change when we do.
