CineMe launches at BFI Southbank.
On Monday 28 September 2026 CineMe launched publicly with an evening at BFI Southbank in London, hosted by its co-founders Dan Hartley and Chris Bird.
CineMe transforms a script into a production: everything needed to see, shape, cost, sell and make a film, derived from the screenplay and held in one collaborative hub.
The launch followed the company’s announcement at Cannes in May 2026, which was covered by Deadline, Screen Daily, Broadcast, Televisual and VP Land.
“Before CineMe you used to have to wait until you’d made a film before you could see it, now you don’t.”Dan Hartley, Founder and CEO
Access is opening in stages from the waitlist. If you have a script, request access and tell us what you are working on.
Photographs from the evening are on the launch page, and the coverage so far is on the press page. To see what CineMe does, start with Create, Slate or Services.
